I don't own one, I was implying that I would prefer' if I were to buy one, because the Outride sol'tn actually incorporates a wide angle lens. A wide FOV really makes a difference.

I'd buy online, yes.

Just bought an optrix for my iPhone 4. Will review it when I have the chance to play with it. $60ish from eBay
 
soooo....risk a 500 dollar iphone, which btw at that point is probably the only way you'd be able to call for help after crashing, vs buying a dedicated $150 sports camera...

Well I got it for my iPhone 4 cuz I will have the iPhone 5s any day now. Think about that playboy. Plus I'd only use it for track cuz I'd drain the battery before I even hit twists on Ontario streets.

Plus with the paid app you can get the lap timer with a tricked out on screen info of speed, g meter, location on track and corner and straight speeds. See video.

I've seen some reviews of people dropping it from 30 feet and running it over multiple times. Probably a marketing ploy but ill risk my $100 iPhone.
