OPP - Focus on Trails/Motorcycle this weekend

Heard a news report on the radio today about Ontario Provincial Police heightened presence this weekend. Radio indicated focus on motorcycles both on road and off road. The OPP article starts off sounding the same, but looks kind of generic and non-bike specific.

On the roads will likely be no different. But if going off road, I think they're really stepping things up this weekend. I could be wrong. Just passing along the word...

What?!? I just had the shop spend hours installing the car tires on my heavyweight hot rod because it looks bad as **** and lasts forever.

They'll be handing out tickets like mad to justify their ridiculous salaries this weekend, so anyone that goes 200km/h on the 400 kinda deserves whats coming. And don't doubt it, some dummy will do just that

Happens any long weekend in the summer. For them handing out tickets is like shooting fish in a barrel.

Drive normal, don't drive a junk heap, follow the rules and you'll be fine. I bet $10 says a news report someone got clocked more than 100km/hr over this weekend.
 
Passed by 2 seat belt checks (presumably) on ramps heading out to lunch and back... It has started! xD

That's actually one of the more useful things the OPP do.
We hate the cops, but people do some really stupid sh-- on long weekends.

Was it 2 or 3 years ago... 18 year old kid in a bmw got nailed doing something ridiculous like 230 in an 80 just outside barrie? I'm waiting for a repeat or someone to top that :D

18 year old kid just got booked doing 240 on the 407 the other night in his gtr.

that's ok...If his daddy could afford to put him in a GTR I'm sure he can afford all the legal fees that come with his stupidity.

I wonder if they arrested him, when I got stunting I was still going 80km/h slower so I didn't get 'Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle"...LOL, that's a *****.
