Yes I use ear plugs. Was unbearable after awhile even with them.

Yes for a street bike. If you want to modify your bike do it properly. The downloadable maps are junk so why waste the money for the bazzaz to put a junk map on the bike? Your still in the same position with a bike that hesitates, runs rich, doesn't make the power you want.
No amount of fuel-injection tuning will make up for an engine that is not breathing properly. You might be able to cover up some symptoms but it won't fix the underlying problem.
I have a 2011 GSX-R750 with the M4 GP and the stock silencer. By the sound of things, you have retained the catalyst, like I have. At least on the 750, the sound is very tolerable when cruising with the stock silencer, and there is very little difference in power/response. Only when winding it out does the volume increase to a level where some might find it objectionable....I find it delicious. I have given some thought to replacing the catalyst with a mid-pipe in the future (mainly to drop the weight)....if I do that, the db-Killer silencer is definitely required.
This is what I'm trying to get across. You bought a tiny can and the only way to make it quiet is to choke it up (it'll never make the same power as the stocker no matter how you tune). If you want similar to stock performance but yet lighter than stock you need to buy a larger can (try the yosh).

Why not consider a PC5? Better resolution when it comes to mapping than Bazzaz or even the race kit ECU. Better quality cabling and design than the Bazzaz as well.
