Are there prefered insurance companies for off road use?

Sort of like Hagerdy for classic cars.

Bought my son a KLX 110 and hoping to pick something up for myself next year. (Possibly a dual sport)

I don't have access to any private land so I will need to rely on OFTR trails or similar. Insurance is a requirement.

Any suggestions or should I just go with the regualr guyes. I'm currently with TD.

Kirk Norris in Peterborough. $80 annually (liability) for most dirtbikes/ATV.

Does ones driving record also affect off road insurance or no?

I completed the online quoting system with TD (my current insurnace) and Co-operatores.

Price is between $410 and $526 annually.

Not impressed.

It does include certain insurance benefits.

Looks like I need to start shopping around.

Just recaluclated it with Co-Operators and stripped it down to ONLY liability and standard "Medical, Rehabilitation and Attendant Care"
$203 annually.
