Odometers off for motorcycle training?

i don't think going 1kph over is legal either, but people do it.

It was mentioned before farther up in the thread that as long as this information is made aware of to the buyer, it is legal.

Some of our course bikes see close to 4,000km a yearl

Which schools in Toronto use rebels as bikes?

Learning Curves Beaches site has one. We use her for the people who want to try a cruiser and for the shorter crowd.

That's kind of weird. Don't you need to demonstrate proper signaling for the M2 test?

M2x not M1x. Signaling isnt involved in the M1x.

as far as i know rti doesn't take them off unless the bike has been modified in a tip over that requires them to be removed for safety. gearing up (as mentioned by gummiente) does take them off, so it varies from school to school

Ours is the same. If its not on the bike its because it has been taken off due to some 'event'. We remove mirrors and turn signals though. We dont really want people to create a pile of glass that they then possibly slide through.

do some ppl ride on the street with no dash/odo so when they sell bike they can sell for more $?

The people I know who ride without speedos or tach don't do it for the $ but because they want a cleaner barebones look for the bike. I am seeing a cool feature on some bikes, they are using bicycle computers instead.

When I took the course at Humber College, all their bikes had signals, all lights and gauges removed from their 250 Viragos.
