Norton might be coming this spring....really

Norton seems to have enough trouble meeting European orders, not sure they will be ready for the big-time stateside yet. Having said that, i know Ride has signed up as a dealer and begun to promote indian, and has some placeholders for norton up. I'm all for it, more bikes to buy is never bad. Also that norton is just awesomeness.

From what I read Norton has bene trying to get into Canada since 2010 and has had orders pending as well, hopefully in those 3 years they were able to get thinsg done on their end to meet the customer demand. Norton's are just plain dreamy..

I like Norton too, I hope they do come in spring. Once they do I bet the demand will be so high that it'll be hard to even get one.

I can only wish to have those mint sexy cafe racers. I'd preferably like to having something older with a bit of character and age showing but still mint, but I wouldn't be disappointed with something new. I wonder what the prices will really be like.

Talking to the Norton reps at Mosport last year at the VRRA race weekend. They were optimistic about geting bikes here and stated they're working on passing emmisions to achieve this. Meh, I'll be happy if they ever get some bikes here but I'm not holding my breath for it to happen.

Ride has been selling Indians for years as well as being one of the very first dealers Norton signed up.
The final hurdle for Norton in North America has been passed so those who placed deposit all those years ago should be seeing their bikes later this year.

OMG! Love to place a leg over a modern Norton and bop around town.

However, I think it will be a used Thruxton that will be the bridesmaid for me. IMO, not a bad secondary choice..........

Bring on more brands and choice!!!!

Saw them at kahuna quite awhile ago, gorgeous bike. Not impressed by the price tag though.

Indian brand now owned by Polaris/Victory will see them finally jump forward with an instant dealer network.

Norton has apparently got some of their financing issues behind them and are ready to move forward and meet some production orders. I can only imagine whats involved in funding a boutique build, millions upon millions.

Have you seen the modern Nortons? They are basically like all other SS bikes, but at a really premium price.

Indians just seem like retro throwbacks in style, with otherwise unremarkable specs. I have a severe allergy to leather fringes.

I dunno about it being a supersport. Not a tonne of power, no fairing, fairly upright riding position. I'd call it a naked or a standard, personally.

That said, I think it's a beautiful bike.

internet. amazing.

These twins start at $24,000.

The internet is amazing. I have seen pictures of these for years. I've seen them at shows for years. I've not seem them on the street or in a dealership yet and I've been to their office address in Newmarket. Nothing. Hence my question.

So... has any dealership got these in the showroom?

Can't find the link, someone did a mini-review of the cafe version a while back. The frame was somewhat flexible and not equal to the modern suspension/wheels/tires It wasn't a hatchet job--he was fairly enthusiastic about the new Norton.

The standard forks version looks better, IMO.
