Norton might be coming this spring....really

I figure if I am going to lust for a Norton, it might as well be a Norton....

There's a real Norton engine and transmission in there. (Kenny is building or has built at least one of these).


The only thing those other bikes share with Norton is the name... which was bought off a tshirt company.

That might be a good thing. Nortons get glamorized a lot, but there are very good reasons why they went broke. The engines were so crap people stuck Triumph engines in the Norton frames.

That bike is the 1973 John Player Norton, which used a monocoque frame to deal with the noodly tube frame issues of early 70s racing bikes. That bike won the 1973 TT, and is now being replicated.
