Need to winterize your bike? Here is a list of things to do

And it was an intact air box yet they still got in

glad they didn't get into the seat, they chew out the foam to make a cavity and stuff it with their own stuff and then u got a mess as well,,,lol
What?! I thought that happened with the cover off!

Acid and crud build up that sits in used oil messes up all the goodness inside your engine. Clean oil makes the bike happy when she is sleeping!!!!

Great tips, I hadn't thought about the sock one.
!

Why change the oil/ filter before winter? I just changed mine 1500 kms ago so would it be okay?

I'm riding a 2015 CBR600RR

Motorcycles are a machine, they neither sleep nor feel happiness. Lol

It can't be reasoned with, it can't be bargained with. It doesn't feel pity of remorse or fear and it absolutely will not stop.

Yeah but are you gonna change her oil and add stabilizer before you put her away for the winter?
Remember not to start her up unless you're going to bring her up to full operating temperature, it'll build up condensation inside her pipes etc. :D

That's a new one for me.
Never heard of mice in an engine before, but it makes sense when you think on it.
Inside the engine is sheltered from the elements.

Good list but I would opt for using steel wool to plug up the exhaust pipes instead of socks. Rodents can easily chew through socks but steel wool...not so much.

I wad up a ball of aluminum foil to plug the exhaust for this reason :)
