Look Ma, no glo...hands!
Yeah gloves are a must for me before anything else other than a helmet. I don't even like riding a bicycle without gloves. Too many memories of pulling gravel out of my palms as a kid. Plus you can get decent elk skin (supposedly stronger than leather) gloves for under $15 out of the US which is way better than nothing.
Do we really need motorcycle specific socks?
They work well with carbon fiber underwear.
Boots with shin guards are essential while touring if some part or large object kicks up from the road.
We don't mean knee sliders, just CE knee protection, proper boots.

Not everything in this hobby has to be motorcycle specific. A lot of people make cash off stuff that is said to make a big difference. . . but really doesn't. . .at least not enough of a diff to justify that much. . .on a pair of socks. They're socks. Just socks. Buy a comfy cotton or something that breathes. done.
