Motorcycle involved in Mississauga crash that killed two people was stolen[/h][h=2]Peel cops not expected to lay charges[/h]
Peel Regional Police are not expected to lay charges in a crash that killed a Toronto man and woman when the motorcycle they were riding collided with a car in Mississauga.
The lengthy investigation by the force’s Major Collision Bureau has determined that the bike was stolen and travelling at a high rate of speed when the crash occurred at Burnhamthorpe Road and Westminster Place back on Aug. 29, 2014. Motorcyclist Mike Henry-Wright, 24, of Toronto, and his friend and passenger Cassandra Tanovich, 22, were killed.

The two were riding together just before 8:30 p.m. when the motorcycle collided with a red Pontiac car, being driven by a 77-year-old Mississauga man. He sustained minor injuries.
Henry-Wright died at the scene, Tanovich was pronounced dead in hospital.
Jeff Danclar, a friend of Henry-Wright, said he loved motorcycles and tried to show his friends and family they weren't dangerous.
Peel Regional Police continue to look into some witness accounts that another motorcycle was riding near Henry-Wright at the time of the crash. Officers are asking anyone with information to contact the force's Major Collision Bureau at 905-453-2121, ext. 3710.

RIP....

although the dark side of karma was strong in that one

"Jeff Danclar, a friend of Henry-Wright, said he loved motorcycles and tried to show his friends and family they weren't dangerous."

I'm not sure stealing a motorcycle and riding recklessly with a passenger was the best way to showcase motorcycle safety.

Maybe he thought he was in GTA IV

What a tragic waste of young lives. RIP.

this guy was a dumbass plain and simple, like that idiot a few years back who dumped his passenger on the highway and took off...

No sympathies.

Maybe he's into sexy ghosts. I think we need to understand, not condemn, graveyard fever. #inrebrules

Anybody who makes the blanket statement that motorcycles aren't dangerous is a little bit detached from reality right from the onset.

Karma sometimes sets in when you make stupid statements. Shame it ended badly for these 2.

The 77yr old guy they collided with will probably give up driving. I'm feeling bad for him.

They are not dangerous.

They are inanimate objects, nothing happens until you add a human into the mix.

Now what's the dangerous part again?

They are not dangerous.

Compared to a cage, they are. That was my point even though you've chosen to construe it otherwise akin to the gun argument.

Care to split hairs more?

North America is full of inanimate objects and thanks to favourable trade deals we get millions more every day. Birth rates are declining, consequently I'd expect to see a crossing on the death/toys axis. So, at least on paper, there's hope. We'll have to see what happens electorally with our southern friends tho. If they build that wall the inevitable pendulum swing could dedarwin the whole NA populace over one generation and you just know the Eskimos can't be relied on to counter act that. What have ever done anyway? Useless Eskimos smh.

That's incredibly dumb. And while I do get what you're saying, what's more dangerous:

a) bird hitting your windshield
b) bird hitting your head/visor/helmet?

a) pulling over after 4/4 tires blow out on your car
b) pulling over after 1/2 tires blows out on your bike?

Bikes are more dangerous than cars, and sometimes it has nothing to do with the operator or other ****** humans.
