Motorcycle Dolly

Anyone have a motorcycle dolly?

Seen a couple of variations, Royal carries one for about $120, Harbour Freight has what looks like the same/similar one for $80.

Do they work well to move your bike around when stored in the off season?

I had one of those but I now have a different type that I prefer...only works with a centerstand though.

I wanted to take up as little space as possible and with the bike upright I can just put a block under the engine for the winter to keep the tires off the ground.

Princess auto one works ok and I sold it to another on this board.

Typically i store my bike with the rubber off the ground, on stands. Don't know if its mandatory but i was told to do it to stop the rubber from getting flat spots.

Am interested on what response the OP gets to question bout being easy to move bike around on it. I have a slight slope into my garage from my gravel drive and sometimes it's a b***h getting my beast backed out. (the gravel makes it difficult to back IN after use) Wondering if I could ride in and onto this, then spin it around and just be able to ride it out in morning instead of engaging in my morning wrestling match...

I remember seeing those at the bike show each year. Never realized that PA carries them.

That would make life so much easier moving the bikes around in the garage, instead of doing a 24 point turn now. LOL.

Time to master the kick stand pivot :P

I enjoyed having my bike stored on a bike jack with wheels. I could move it around anywhere in the garage.

I bought some heavy duty casters at Home Depot and attached them to a 2x2 piece of 3/4 plywood. My bike has a centre stand. I position the centre stand under the dolly and we are good the go for the winter. My issue was swinging the backend around to store it in a tight space, and this works good. Less than $20.00
