Jorge Martin wants out of Aprilia:

tldr; In his contract with Aprilia, Martin is allowed to leave the manufacturer if his race bike didn't perform up to his expectations and he ended up not being one of the top contenders in the championship. The allow-to-leave date was set for after the Le Mans race.

Well, surprise surprise, Jorge Martin is not at the top of the championship race. But not because of his performance on the Aprilia. It's because he's been injured the entire season. However, seeing how the other Apes are underperforming in the championship, Martin wants to invoke his right-to-leave clause, because technically he is not one of the top riders. Aprilia says this is not in the spirit of the contract, saying Martin isn't at the top not because of the bike, but because he's not even been racing.

Lawsuits pending. Drama unfolding...

lots of rumors on the net about Peco potentially going to Yamaha, and Martinator to Honda.

Yeah, JRea did a couple of wildcards in MotoGP and decided he'd rather be a big fish in a small pond.

And he's a 6-time WSBK WC...

Bautista never had the same success in the Big League as he has in WSBK.

Toprak is fantastically talented, but can he beat the Marquez bros on Desmosedicis? I'd say no.

Is he on par with a FB20 or JM89? Maybe.

But on a satellite Yamaha? Just keep piling on the handicaps...

Unfortunately I expect he'll be a consistent 15th 16th place next season and back in WSBK after that
