Mississauga Finally gets a vehicle noise bylaw

This article does not go too in depth but it looks like its happening. I'm not sure how I feel about it though.
1. It's KINDA needed as I noticed that the fad or REAL LOUD exhaust systems have tapered down substantially
2. It's Peel police were dealing with here.....enough said

I guess Mississauga needs money.....might as well generate it any way they can....get the cars with tinted windows as well easy to see them, don't even need to hear them.....

now if they would just make the airplanes going over my house a bit more quieter so I can enjoy peace and quiet over the summer, I swear I didn't know I was in a flight path......dammmit

There is nothing in the link saying Mississauga will be getting a noise by-law.

Highway Traffic Act's "unnecessary noise" regulation.

they will be enforcing

And also that's one way of getting money, Sauga is also thinking of a separation from the region of Peel which would put Btown and Caledonia in the red lol

This law has always been in the HTA. It's just a short campaign for this month. It will be business as usual in 9 days

It already is, more for fart can civics, radio volume and tire screeching though.

They most likely get you for revving but you never know till you find a cop having a bad day.
If it was enforced equally then either yes they should, or anyone with slip ons should get off.
Too bad it isn't.

That would be extremely exploitable by the police....

And extremely easy to beat by those charged under it, accordingly. Like the window tint law the unclear/discretionary nature of the law leads to a good majority of the charges that people decide to fight getting tossed out.

Mississauga not growing, really, not sure why you would say that, it's not expanding but it certainly is growing

and if projections are right I think it should be separated by 2022 if I remember correctly..
