Cycle world is a dumpster. That place should have closed down a long time ago. They sell garbage and is disgusting.
"Itz OhKay, you grow into new Djacket thing. Jast eat moar!"
It's true, private sale bikes can sometimes be found for less on Kijiji, but they will rarely if ever come with a 130 point service inspection to ensure a fully certified bike. We do that here.
Anyone who has purchased a motorcycle or car privately that was "in mint condition" or would "certify with very little work" only to find out the vehicle needs major work and it is not under warranty will understand the major benefits in buying from a dealer that provides a certified bike with a guarantee.
Happy Riding.
I am not your friend.. and I was actually giving you a good review so check your attitude, well one thing you can be assured, I am never going back to that shopWe're not advertising, friend. We're just responding to comments about our store. What's wrong with that?
We have not at any time tried to give the impression of new management since we opened the store 5 years ago, except in that context.
As for a sales person encouraging people that come into the store to buy products, especially people that never buy anything, guilty as charged. This is a retail store after all.
"The blonde lady" is a valued member of our team, and she has a great sense of humour.
All the best.
Doesn't matter, I see a 2010 Yamaha R1 with 611 miles (american bike) on the website and the price is $14,500... The brand new 2013 R1 sticker price is $14,999 and Yamaha dealers will definitely sell for less than that.
Not to mention all the used Ninja 250's listed for around $4500 when dealers sell them new for $4000
The blond lady with the accent at cycle world is so rude and has no sense of customer service.
Last weekend she told me they don't stock a particular jacket, even though I tried it on a week prior. "I know my jackets and we have never carried that!" After checking Parts Canada book she realized she did have the jacket and I was right. She didn't apologize just made some lame excuse.
I then asked if they would match GP bikes price - "I don't care what GP bikes sells it for... I can only give 10% off". The only reason I bought the jacket was because 1) they had my size in stock 2) 10% off coincidentally was GP bikes price. I don't like getting people in trouble but that lady needs an attitude check and lesson on customer service.
The parts counter also screwed go my order. Completely wrong sprocket was ordered and I didn't find out until my mechanic told me after I dropped off the bike with parts. Thankfully the older gentleman at the parts counter fixed it for me and ordered the right one with no issues. He is the only reason I would ever go back (on Saturday from 10-3 when he is there).
I guess that's why that Charles guy said she has a good sense of humour...she is just joking with you. Another joke she might pull is to tell you, 'we don't stock Dainese much because they are crap... Why don't you try on this Joe rocket jacket for $500, much much better quality than Dainese. Or perhaps try this rare brand from Pakistan, normally $800 now 50% off, amazing deal at $400!!
service guy told me there was NO way to wire it directly to the bikes electronics. Ive seen 20 since that have done just that. I must have woken up to a drained battery 5 times since i forgot to turn the grips off separately after killing the engine on a cold night ride.
INFURIATES ME!
