looking for directions for 507 / elephant lake

Not sure when you are leaving, but I am thinking of leading a ride up there around June 1st weekend. If you do go up, keep in mind on the 507 road they have added 2 new rock quarries, so you have trucks running from 6 A.M - 6 P.M saturating certain corners with rocks so be careful. A friend of mine that runs the gas station at the head of the 507 also drives a school bus on that road and says some days it's pretty bad.

I was on Elephant Lake/Peterson Rds. last weekend. Still gravel in some areas. Beware. Hwy 507 was clear of any road hazards and police.

Yep, we have a motocross track in the fairgrounds. Just on the north side of the horse area.
We used to race right near kawartha downs too (wasa really fun track) but we had a death there so we no longer use it.
