Hey everyone,

New to posting, def not to reading this site. So much good info on here that I can say in my 2 mths of riding, I've learned more here then anywhere else. Thanks to all the members for sharing their experience and knowledge. I'm sure there's a whole lot of others who read and get better all the time.

Welcome, and enjoy the fun here.

Welcome to gtam!
I know what you mean by learning from this site. I spend a lot of my work time going through these forums and I read a lot of different stuff on many different subjects.
One thing I learned long ago about the internet though is that you can't believe what one person says unless he/she provides strong evidence to support their post.

What I tend to do is this:

1- Read post about a certain subject, gain interest, try and understand how the poster explained subject.
2- Google subject and read other articles from different sources.
3- In my head, mash all the information I just read and make my own view of everything based on facts provided and opinions/tips suggested.

I end up coming out with a lot of good and new information/tricks at the end of the day and then because I have read multiple opinions of a subject, I feel confident that I can understand many different ways to look at it/interpret it.
Takes a bit of extra time but is well worth it.

In general, not one person is ever right on the internet. It's mostly opinions that are occasionally backed up with strong facts to prove the hypothesis.
Always take everything you read with a grain of salt. :)

Ride safe!
