Kickstand broke?

Hey guys, recently hauled my bike home and noticed my kickstand spring come loose which made it unusable. Should I bring it to the shop to get it fixed? If so how much? Or should I just try and fix it myself?

I had one of those goofy double springs on my centre stand that broke.

Replaced the two, with a 45 year old single spring from a Goldwing.

Works great now.

If you can stretch the new spring without letting go, or it coming off,
you can replace it yourself.
