Keeping things moving

Funerals and memorials are not for the deceased. They are for those left behind . People will feel guilty they were not better friends , that they were crappy children , that they did not make the effort to stay in touch. But being out of touch does not being being out of mind and mindfulness. I think of people every week or so I have not seen in 20 yrs . I would go to a memorial for any of them.
Everyone grieves and remembers in a different way. Giving people a chance to say they are sorry is fair and needed . Maybe you don’t need it but they do.
And deep down , everybody says , no fuss, no remembering, nobody cry’s. And no one wants to be the person that had no one came to their funeral . Give people a chance , you have spent the last couple years in a ****** situation, be the better man .
