It really was a travesty that people would take a perfectly good Pontiac and try to make it look like a cheesy pasta rocket.

If you knew anyone that owned a fiero you'd get why they didn't care what eventually happened to it esp the early 2M4 versions. Atrocious!


the Fiero's nightmare came to life when Honda introduced a year later the CRX, the public discovered a 2 seater that was well engineered and put together, more reliable, lighter, faster and a joy to drive!

I am familiar with the Fiero and all of it's quirks and oddities. I'd still rather have one of them than any Ferrari or Lambo.

IIRC the Fiero was based on the X car. The X had defective braking and steering then you drive it in reverse.

The fiero was GM's modern take on the corvair. Another brilliant engineered machine.
