Jacket but no gloves?!?

Okay i've wanted to ask this question forever, i could care less if people want to ride naked or in full gear, but it absolutely boggles my mind to see people making the decision to wear a heavy leather jacket, on a 30 degree day....but not put on riding gloves.

Someone please explain....

Why not just ask the guy you saw doing it? He has the correct answer to your question since he is the one doing it.

that and some depends on their storage - I've got tons of storage so can handle 10 degrees to 35 in comfort.

Gloves can be tucked in a pocket - sometime there is no spot for a heavy jacket - in PA we've ridden starting at 4 degrees in the morning ending at 30 later in the day. You CAN'T ride light at 4 and sure as hell want to at 30.

Trouble with a lot of machines - no storage - one of the reasons there are new middle weights with lots of stprage for commuting and multiple use.

I want and have a multi-use vehicle and can ride 9 months, use for touring and shopping and still have fun in the twisties. Lot of people out there the same.

I think the old VFR fit that bill perfectly.
It would have been my next bike, but then Honda went and f'd it up.
Now it's just damn ugly.

Glad I had the storage today - damn it's hot out. Short sleeves most of the day tho I considered putting the gloves on on some gravel roads but they were hard backed and dry so just took it easy.
