Is this deal for a used zx6r legit?

Hi I just got my m2 and am planning on getting a used motorcycle to practice on. I stumble across an ad for a used ZX6R with 124000km on it for 900 dollars. The guy said I only need a new turn signal and it can be mine. Do you think this deal is legit?

A 24 year old supersport with 120k on the clock... yeah I'd say he wouldn't get a dime over $900 to begin with. Seems legit. Good deal for some broke dude who desperately wants to ride. Make sure it doesn't burn oil and it holds temperature steady.

If you are under 25, the insurance is going to cost you more than double...if not triple the bike.

Check the charging system first that headlight is seriously dim, if you can afford the insurance and it looks to be in OK condition why not?

If it's running and only needs simple stuff, like pads, fluid change and signals, it's worth it.

Definitely legit, why not? Offer 500 bucks and go from there. With that age, style and the mileage it's not easy to sell a bike.

I wish I could say it was.

For under $1k it'd be a little rough around the corners. if you can wrench yourself i'd most defiantly buy.

I wouldn't say electrical issues. The plastic on the fuses do degrade and even faster on a motorcycle. My 93 VFR750 had a few that the plastic was falling apart on (and almost grounded out).

High mileage and being 600cc it must have been trashed many times.

Get a pregen ninja 250. Its call zzr250. Rock solid and around $1-1.5k. Cheap insurance . you will learn alot more.

Most new riders jump on 600cc only to spend time to learn gunning and stopping on straight. They rarely know how to corner smoothly. This is why the Ninja 250 would be a better tool. Please dont bother with 600cc with such low budget.
