Hi guys, I bought a used r6 recently and just noticed today that it seems the lock for my master link in my chain is missing. See the pic. Could someone tell me if it is normal? If not, why should I do? Thanks a lot.

Isn't there a lock to lock the master link in place so it won't slip out?

That's a rivet link. It looks fine.
What you're thinking of is a clip type master link. Those ones have the locking clip.
Notice how the ends of the pins on your master link are dimpled in the middle? That's one way you can tell.
Clip type master links will not have a dimple; they will have a groove to hold the spring clip.

Get your hands on the sm and a vernier and measure the spread of the rivet to be sure it's on right.

thanks. I am getting a chain tool. Once getting it, I will probably change the chain as it looks worn to me.
Make sure you buy a quality chain, DID, EK, RK, etc. None of this no-name brand ebay junk

The tips of those rivets don't look flared enough. I just replaced my chain and I flattened the rivets more than that.
