Iphone App for Motorcyclist

Hi, I'm a student working on a research project for a motorcycle social networking App for the iPhone. Right now you have the ability to post links, comment on pictures, etc. But we're trying to expand it to enhance the user experience. Here are some other ideas i've come up with:

1. Logging Lean angle, speed and distance traveled - later to be uploaded to social networking site.
2. Communicating with your friend while riding, through bluetooth on your phone.
3. Able to see your location as well as your friend's on your gps map and coordinate with each other.

These are just some ideas i've come up with, how useful would these be to you and would it enhance your riding experience?

Adding to the above:
1. Do you guys plan bike rides with friends or do you most bikers just jump on their bike when they feel like it and just go for a joy ride?

2. While riding with friends, do you guys plan out the trip before hand or just hit the road and follow each other?
Thanks!

How about an app that provides access to all kinds of roads you can take and has user rating for how challenging and well maintained the road is. And if you select to take a certain road, it will show you other roads which are in the vicinity and help plan your route by bridging all these selections. You can also keep info like roads that you've taken before etc. The only prob is that on a long route the iPhone battery runs out of juice if the app keeps running in the background. So best to not measure all the stuff while on the go.

There is an app that does that already... It's called "GreatestRoad"

gps program that doesn't take the shortest or fastest route but rather the roads with the most twists
How about finding the route with the least amount of gridlock?

Can it be made to be a fuel guage, and to run on a non-iPhone?

A map that shows other riders who are interested in meeting up for a ride in real time would be cool.

How about an app that allows you to take pics of a**holes licence plates that cut in front of you and sends the data directly to the cops!!!

Yeah an app that lets you upload pics of license plates to the cops would be awesome :D If they get a couple complaints from the same driver, then they should intervene!

I already find myself taking pics of people who follow to closely, especially when I have my signal on.

How about stunt apps. Start with the wheelie app since almost everyone at some point tried to lift their front wheel or at least have thought about it. Make a database of diffrent RPM range based on diffrent bikes on which the front wheel would come up as soon as you pop the clutch. Make a real life app simulation on over and under throttling. Ofcourse it would vary base on mathematical computation of weight, power or size of engine etc etc. You got to be able to show how to wheelie step by step too. Some riders cant wheelie, atleast theyd be able to through iphone. Dont forget my royalty for the idea once it is selling like pancakes.

Being able to chat over wifi would be amazing! I'd pay quite a bit for that.

Range for Bluetooth isn't far enough

add police traps capability like traspter plus all the above ideas and I would pay for it...a lot. Oh way a minute, the iphone sucks so I don't have one lol.

I think you could get google latitude to work that way I think.

A way to get a custom map to navigation on android would be good. Correct me if I'm wrong but right now you can get a custom map in google maps, or navigation from A-B but you can't get navigation from a custom google map.

what about nearest gas stations, weather reports + radar maps, a plug in with the trapster (police radar database), road reports from the MTO, traffic conditions
