Can't find this with a search. Can someone tell me, or point to the appropriate location, what the maximum image size / file size that can be uploaded to a general post and also to a classified ad. Thanks.

I just use imgbb. Fast, easy, free and no size limits.

not sure about the maximum size, but you can easily just put it on paint, and control W to scale it down symetrically and still maintain quality of picture (usually anyway)

I think it's under 2 megs. I've had some problems post iPhone pic's and had to re-save under this limit or a bit below.

Yeah ImgBB allows resizing too ....700 pixels across works fine.

I just use ‘medium’ on the quality when I post with my phone. Works every time.
