I very well may, I always thought the pics were of the same situation but as I look at the scars as compared to the injuries in your post I'd say one is much worse than the other. Either way, ouch!

It's a chance that people take while riding weather you are fully geared up or in shorts, if it's your time to crash or wipe out then it's inevitable...no matter what you do!
Sad to see the young lady a scraped up but she is alive to this day, hopefully next time she will consider wearing some gear or perhaps never get on a bike again!
