How much is alot of kilomteres

1200km on a 2011 Ninja 250 is perfectly fine! You can consider that low! Haha!

For engine size 125-300cc some would say 14k km+ is a little high? Or even at 10k km+.

But if the motorcycle was maintained very well the mileage wouldn't be too much of a factor in the motorcycle performance/lifespan.

I've done that in ONE DAY.

Not sure if the original poster is serious. Somewhere in the USA, is a Honda CBR600 (not sure which generation) with over 260,000 miles on it.

Ninja 250s are usually either crashed into oblivion or stashed away in someone's back yard and forgotten about, before the engine wears out. When they do occur, engine failures on those are usually due to someone failing to check the oil level. They do tend to burn a little oil, when ridden hard. It's normal, and nothing to worry about ... until a newbie rider who doesn't realize that they ought to be checking the oil level on a reasonably frequent basis, doesn't do so, and runs it out of oil, and then BOOM.

Is this thread a joke??

I wonder what my 09 with almost 65000 km is...

There is someone on this website with over 60,000 km on a cbr125.

I put over 40,000 km on my old one (which is, at last check, still running around somewhere) and I have 15,000 km on my new one. I've seen lots of them with 25,000 km plus.

Im buying a 2011 ninja 250 that has 1200km on it. Is that a lot for that little time?

You know it's a lot, if it's more than a bunch.

Here's the order for km;
None < almost none < barely any < very few < not a lot of < less than average < average < a little more than average < some < a bit of < a bunch of < a lot of < abundant < a ton < way too much < just enough.

I have a 96 ninja 600 c9 I bought new. Now has 387,000km on it. Had to change worn out front discs, clutch, fork springs and the ecu. Still runs and drives fine. Had it on a ride that sunnys lead last fall. It is now my winter bike. So 1200km is nothing.

Wow ... Now THAT is a lot!

I bought my bike new this year. Ten days later it was in for it's first service. I'm on my 8th week now and at 6500 kms and already done oil change #2. 12k isn't hard to do from 2011-2013.

I'm a couple gas tanks away from 100k km, hasn't blown up yet.

If it's priced fairly for the mileage and condition, you have nothing to worry about

12000km is fine. I started this year and have done 3000km in two months and I'm busy with other things.

That response was to the number in the original post ... 1200 km. It has since been edited ... 12,000 km in a day, THAT would be a challenge!

HAHAH yes sorry i put 1200 mistakenly for 12000km. The price for the bike is 2600, so I think i will be taking it

12k isn't much. I tend to put over double that on my bikes each season, sometimes closer to triple....
