How many of you from Toronto want to go to Tail Of The Dragon together?

Hey guys,

Im from Toronto, Just wondering if anybody is interested to got to the Tail Of The Dragon during the summer for a week. I've been there 5 times with my s2000 guys from toronto and im addicted. But this year i plan on going with the CBR. Would any of you be interested to go?

I used to go down at least twice a year, but havent been down in the last 2 years.

I may go down this year with the Corvette club ..
 
It looks like I'll be going down there twice this year ... but I'll stay with our groups who seem a little less prone to attracting the wrong kind of attention!
 
No offence, but I don't think you'll find too many people down to go with a brand new guy who has no GTAM cred...
Deals Gap is the last place I'd go with people I don't know or haven't ridden with....

I plan on going down this summer. Are you guys riding your bikes down or are you hauling them? I want to ride down and back, so far there are 3 of us 100% in
 
What a waste of time. Go to the track......love the test drive of the BMW S1000RR in shorts, t shirt and running shoes too.
can Anyone explain the point of driving many hours to ride a street known for cops and crashes??
 
I go down for a week at a time at the start of May. We don't ride the Dragon that much, we ride the other roads. It's a nice way to start the year, some good friends and lots of good quality riding. It's not a race track, though I've been guilty of treating it like one.
 
Some of you on here make me laugh. Sounds like a lot of you have no clue what the tail of the dragon is about or even been there. Coming this year will be my 6th time. the sheriffs and troopers usually will take the opportunity to stop big groups just to say hi and tell everyone to be careful. they dont hassle us as it may seems in the pictures. I cant speak for the other groups but we love to cruise and explore. sorry for the title of the pics as it was just for laughs.

Lol i didnt mention the parking lot. A "street" known for cops and crashes....? stay off of youtube. You should go and check it out for yourself.

Anyways guys, Im not here too make enemies. Just wanted to share a great trip and possible make a couple friends amongst riders. None of for the past 5 times have gotten tickets or had any close calls. I know some of you might think its ridiculous to drive hours and ride at that certain spot but until you experience the scenery you wont understand. An its good to take time away from the television and just kick back with friends and have a good time. I'm sorry if i came off the wrong way with some of you guys but i could guarantee that if we do ever meet we probably would have a good laugh over a beer... when we are not riding of course lol.

Cheers.... I plan to do this one day.... but for now will be sticking to getting to know the roads in this neck of the woods

When are you planning to do this? Ive been meaning to get down there for years and every year something comes up...
Anyways you riding down there or putting the bikes on a trailer?

BTW welcome to the site and dont worry about all the people who knock the idea, below picture illustrates the average GTAM meet hahahaha

I would definitely be interested in going down of course depends when, could put two bikes on my pickup or ride down whatever

The Dragon is great -- and so is making new friends...

But not sure they mix...

My first trip down was with a group I met on the 'net...

Of 12 riders, two bikes ended up wrecked...

The one guy crossed the yellow line and hit another rider head-on...

Both bikes were wrecked and the other rider was messed up pretty bad...

Prefer to do it on my own or with close friends (and not so much as a destination, but rather a fun diversion within a grander journey)...
