You're preaching to the choir. I'm still doing physio for my shoulder after dropping my buddies DT50 in June. (In my defense it was after 10am so weed and alcohol was involved....)
Nobody ever respects the little bikes until they FAFO. :)

Never bought the same model twice in a runner but I've lost count of how many old single cam 750 Honda's have past thru this garage in part or in whole.

How many of you have bought the same bike twice? I bought 2 Beta 200s a few years ago. And i would buy another Tenere 1200 in a heartbeat.
Buell S3T - Both Black, same year and slight differences in windshield and rims. Both were fun and worth it. Only sold due to limited garage space and wife didn’t enjoy riding pillion. She had a point as they do wheelie easily and cornered really well.

Rick, just out of curiosity, what are some points that you liked about the 1200?

Over 50 years of bike ownership has made for many instances of owning duplicate models.

A bunch of CBXs

My `78 GS1000 right there. Suzuki did an exceptional job on those, likely the best street bike I`ve ever owned. And the best stock seat ever too.

I`d imagine you`ve been eyeballin` the new Buell Super Cruiser. That bike looks like crazy RZ350 type fun on steroids. I saw Kaplan Cycles in CT. I believe, has the first 2 off the line.

I'm assuming you like the new counterbalanced engine much better?

I've only ridden it briefly, but yes it's much smoother and a far more refined/modern motorcycle. Less off road capable I expect, but then so am I nowadays.
