How forward should we look?

I've had two Norway maples removed from my place because their root systems tend to kill themselves off after 60-70 years. They were the tree of choice a half century go but are now considered an invasive species because of seed volume. Not enough foresight.

EV technology is advancing faster than we can finance it.

China's sparrow eradication campaign

What about the Gates foundation eliminating mosquitoes to prevent malaria?

Little fish eat the mosquito larva. Bigger fish eat the little fish. Rinse repeat and no bigger fish for us to eat.

Forget all that. Like Skynyrd sang.. " Be a simple man". Enjoy today, tomorrow is guaranteed for no one. Friend of a friend died last week, brain tumor at 39, wife and two young teenage kids left behind. Something will get us all.... asteroid or accidental nuclear war. Whatever or whom ever is left can figure it out. ;)
