So was gonna take a long ride today(long for me) and got about 1/4 way there and noticed my gas was down to last bar.

So i went back and decided to fill up. It was my first time, read the manual and started filling up.
Was interesting experience to watch the gas come out and into the tank.

So it filled pretty fast, didn't look at cost till i got home.

Gas is at 124.X right now, It took me $11 to fill my tank. I was gobsmacked.
My car takes $80+ to fill. Makes me want to take my bike everywhere instead.

1.24 in missisauga?? :/ ..... its like 1.40 for regular in vaughan.

my bike costs $30 less per 500km in gas....it takes premium though. my 4cyl camry takes regular.

i assume your 250 takes regular right...

Glad I stumbled onto this thread. As luck would have it my bikes' gas tank is smaller than my truck gas tank as well. Will be looking to take advantage of this near anomaly going forward:happy9:

$11 dollars to my cottage on bike vs $30 in my car. Can't take girlfriend on the bike though...

Sorry, brain fart. 142.X. Your right, I can only wish it was 124.:)
My bike is regular unleaded.

And i'm sure it was obvious to some people, but i never realized how cheap it was until I did it.

So I pay $40 to fill my car & $20 for my bike. Does that mean my bike have really bad economy?

Sent from my tablet using my paws

ummm I did 597 kms yesterday and I filled up $12+$5+$10...for the ninja 300...

Big difference where you fill up too... Gas was 132 in gravenhurst yesterday, and 145 in parry sound.

yeah... its $20 worse than ur car :o sell sell sell

20L tank vs 65+L tank. I doubt you get 600+km on the bike.

My GSXR750 gets around 6.5L/100km if I ride like a complete moron and make tons of noise.

My 3.2TL gets 11-12L/100km.

I work with software for a living so I do not need anything going to and from work. The only valid argument (and main reason why I do not commute on the bike) is the same reason why no one would commute with a Ferrari; you don't want to walk out of work to see some faggot touching it or that someone backed into it.

....now if I had a Ninja 250....that thing pulls around 3.5L/100km!

LOL wait until you get a real bike. Gas consumption goes out the window............
