I've experienced it myself. I don't commute with the bike. And don't generally ride in the city. But there are always times when you pass though a urban centre and get stuck in traffic for a bit. Bike heats up, stop for fuel (bike is thirsty), and then good luck re-starting. Real piss off to have to push your bike away from a pump and sit around waiting for 1/2 to 1hr for it to cool so you can get going again.

I have yet to have any hot start issues. I'm not saying it may not happen or if the problem still exists with the ECU update...

Btw I do have a Race ECU.

Back on topic, get the bimmer.

I always thought the BMW looked stupid with its headlights, however seeing it all day for 3-4 days at a time at the past shows its kind of grown on me...
Every time I glanced at it I didn't want to like it, but there's just something about it...its like she's winking at you, saying "You know I'm a bad *****...", I'd only do it in black or red though.

The other bike that really caught my eye was the RSV4 in all red. Its another bike that wasn't really at the top of my list but seeing it in red I'd walk into a dealership and buy it on the spot if I had the money.

Not a big fan of the cyclops eye F4 and its been around pretty much unchanged for while now. Always loved Ducati but the 1199's headlights look like they went Asian, (no offence...)

Dont think i had the hot start issue, but had other problems like a transmission that stopped working

Actually i've been calling a few dealers and very close in making my decision

The MV F4 is out of the list. Instead i'm considering the RSV4 factory.

Here is what the situation is:

Only the Aprilia is available for sure this season.

The Panigale tricolor is available but the R version i have to wait which might be late for the season

The HP4 is sure not available this seaon and i have to be on the list for next season. Which leads to plan B: Get the Triumph Daytona 675R for this season and put it my living room as decorative piece next season when the HP4 is delivered.
