Help me choose, MV F4 or HP4 or 1199 Panigale R

I'm hopeful that EBR will put out a super-naked.

EBR should be releasing a super-naked 1190sx.

When? For Next year I'm guessing.

What's it going to cost? Too much for sure.

How it will stack up next to competition like the Tuono, s1000r, SuperDuke etc? I gotta say it'll be tough for them, mainly due to price. Same problem they'll face with the RX. It's not alot of bike for $20 USD, and by that I mean components /electronics wise. It just won't have enough to lure anyone out side of the Buell loyalist's.

After reading about naked bikes, i look thro them all and i really like the look of MV Brutale.

Its supposed to be even lighter than the F3 which was said to be the lighest SS from reviews

So i now consider this bike as well. Anything else?

MV's triple was supposedly developed as an 800cc from the start, then they decided to shorten the stroke to get down to 675cc for world supersport. What all that means? Well apparently the engine is way smoother and more responsive at 800cc... along with the extra kick of increased displacement. Win Win Win

I'm so bored I'm posting in a troll thread.

Anywho, if you have the dosh for any of these bikes, why is reliability a concern? Your dealer will probably be happy to take care of you.

In terms of increasing rarity, it will probably be Panigale R < HP4 < MV F4. You can just about count the number of MV Augusta dealers in the country using your fingers. Supposedly HP4s are hard to get due to demand, so you may need to grease a few palms. Maybe you like that!

I have seen someone in the GTA ride around on a Desmosedici, so be careful not to run into that guy or you will get shown up.

Dont be a dick. Do i have to be a track junkie to drive a M3 or an 911 turbo?

I'm new to bikes but not to motorsports.

With all due respect, money not being a factor, you are essentially jumping from a honda civic to the top of the bike world with the three choices.
So many more choices in between to enjoy before you spoil yourself with the best of the marques.

With that said, obviously go with whichever you love best. Share some details with us and perhaps you will get a more qualitative response..

What kind of rider are you? What is your skill level like?
Would you rather a nice shiny bike, or a performance beast with scratched fairings?

....

I'd spend a season or two on a 600SS, you'll appreciate that Litre bike that much more when you get on one.

That's quite a huge jump from 250 to 1000+, especially after only 1 season of only weekends. I went from a CB450 to a Ninja zx6, and for the first couple months, it was pretty scary. The amount of instant power available is a bit overwhelming.

I would vote for the HP4. I like the look, and like you said, it sounds pretty sexy.
Must be nice having $25k to spend on a weekend toy :p.

Back when i was 14, i've ridden NSR 150 which seems to be faster than the ninja 250. But nothing as powerful as the bikes being discussed here.

Notice a pattern here?

If you want a bike to cruise around on weekends get a 600ss. Not only will you live longer but it will be more fun on the street.

You should seriously consider getting a used 600ss bike for at least one season before you drop $20-32k on a flagship superbike. A rider at your level (hell, 95% of riders) wont gain anything from ohlins suspension or an akrapovic exhaust, except maybe for street cred at the local timmies

Get a used 600ss for $5000, ride it for this season and then sell it for $4800 if you really want to move up. Although if you really have to get one of the fastest most technically advanced bikes for the road as your second bike, get the HP4 simply because it is the most well rounded choice with the best rider aids to help you keep your new $22k toy shiny side up...

A classic I have more money then skill/sense thread. Op are you in the 250 Facebook group?

While I won't judge I think going from a 250 to something like that is a recipe to death for 99.99999% of people. Hope you have the skills or even comprehension to know what a bike like that is like to hang onto.

Guy did say he was in his 30's which IMO brings it down to 75% chance of death.

I'm not trolling. I care about reliability because being broken down means less enjoyment, beside i can only ride during weekends. If i have to wait a month for parts then screw it.

i loled
and good luck with getting HP4 this late in the season
you can almost cross that off ur wish list

Can i get one from states? I suspect in warm weather location like Florida, riding is all year round.

If your looking for reliability then you're missing out on 99% of bikes.
And don't go down on a hp4. The electronics on it cost a pretty penny to fix including the throttle.

A classic of jealousy from grade school?

Do you ask every GTR driver " hey do you have a driving skill to match the car? " I'm sure that would get you far in life. Stop dissing my skills because i rode a ninja250.

Who says I don't ride a 250. Driving skill and riding skill are very different. **** up in a car and you have a dinged bumper. **** up on a bike and you're dead. 1 season on a 250 is not enough experience to be able to handle a litre bike.

Limited production bike
If you want one rly bad
Start going to dealers and dropping deposits at all of them
At this moment they are all spoken for
So unless someone decides to drop out ur SOL

For now you can enjoy looking at mine

Don't these fancy bikes have rider aids and rain modes, abs and such? Sure they do. They've got stiff frames, great suspension, gumball tires, life saving mufflers and fully rotational throttles. They will only go as fast as you ask, what's all the sturm and drang about then? Ride it like you didn't steal it.

The sky's been falling since 1978 when, as a teenager, I got a Z1900 with 36mm damper rod forks, 4 inch wide skidmasters, noodle frame c/w hinge, no brakes, you know...1970's superbike. Riding impaired encouraged and applauded. Surely the 21st century man can do no worse.
