Can anyone comment on head shapes within the Bell line of Helmets?
I purchased a Bell Arrow Strafer from canadasmotorcycle.ca. At ~55cm, (Size Small) it was too large, and exchanged for an XS. Although it fits perfect front/back, the rounder shape provides too much play on the sides...both in the cheek pads and when pressing side-to-side. My head is more neutral/oval, so I must return yet again.
The wife purchased a HJC CL-16 Hellion (Size XS) which is almost a perfect fit... there is a minimal amount of side play, so therefore still (slightly) too round. Although I would never notice without the Bell comparison, so I'm picky now
From what I've read, the Bell Vector has a more neutral/narrower shape than both of these. Therefore, would it be safe to assume that this helmet should fit?
I would love to try these on in-person, but nobody appears to stock within the GTA. This is my first real bike/helmet so I'm not considering a Shoei/Arai/etc. until I have more miles/experience to justify the investment.
Thanks!
