Heating Problems?

He guys, seems to be one problem after another with my bike lol. Bike is riding great ! But for some reasob I was riding and two days in a row my tenperature light came on for like twenty seconds but ended up just turning off lol? Not sire why but yeah, but last night is when it confused me because when I shut the bike off I could hear a boiling sound or sonething lol, but my rad fan thing nevet turns on? Any ideas? 2002 SV650S

If you shut your bike off (key off), the fan won't be turning anymore. If you just hit the kill switch which will allow the bike to have power, the fan will be running.

Is there coolant in your rad and in the reservoir?
