heated gloves are better than heated grips. no question. anyone that says otherwise hasn't had good gloves, hasn't had heated gloves, or packs it in too early.
best thing is to have both. $30 kimpex grip heaters for mild cold, gerbings g3 for more. mid december with gerbings gloves my hands weren't warm, they were toasty hot, and at 60% temp on the controller.
as for price, check ebay. my liner and gloves were both cheaper by luring ebay than any online shop, and for sure any local shop. I got both articles for less than GP wants for the gloves alone!
