In response to the OP: I definitely rev the engine whenever I'm around kids, especially when I'm not riding my 250. If I can inspire just one kid to get into motorcycles, my job is done.

That's hilarious.
I admit I did rev at a light once but when the girl turned to look, I clasped my chest in surprise, as if it were not the bike, but my heart that had revved. She laughed very, very hard, but I had get to get out of the intersection.
Of course I can only get away with this because I ride a Triumph.
