Harley-Davidson to recall over 300,000 motorcycles

I'm surprised it only took them fifty-some-odd years to find a flaw in their design.
 
I'll be selling popcorn in the concession stand.

They expect to sell 228,000 to 235,000 total in 2011 worldwide. I'm not certain what they are talking about with the shipping numbers, but it's not anywhere close to what they manufacturer. It's either a mistake or they are referring to something else.

They should recall for the design flaw in the motor.
 
you know i used to think the same way. Then i rode some of them, and the things that people ***** about are the things that make them fun bikes. Actually feeling like you have a machine you are riding is great. Now don't get me wrong, i'm still a sport bike guy, but I do see the appeal. 90% of whats being ******* about is what makes them sell to the crowd that likes them.

To each their own.
 
Oh, wait a minute. You think I have never ridden a Harley?
 
The only flaw in the only Harley I have ridden was the forward controls, nothing else (it was a vrod).
