Hahaha at some of the suggestions. (Require owners to have their vehicles tested by police so that they can have a "license" to operate in city limits? Who's going to pay for THAT? And what about someone passing through from elsewhere? Let's see whoever made that "suggestion" get a "noise license" for their own vehicle in Guelph, and Caledon, and Mississauga, and Brampton, and Kitchener, and Timmins and every municipality between here and there, and so on ...)
Has Caledon actually written any tickets under their own bylaw, which was supposed to take effect a few weeks ago? Last I heard, there was an issue of some sort with the means of measuring engine RPM (I'm not surprised, given how they were proposing to do it) and they were only going to be testing at idle.
