Great video of the Honda CT125: Cool build.

Since the stock version isn't sold in Canada I assume it can't be brought in, especially if modified. Damn.

Edit: US price is $3999 so likely close to $6000 here for stock. Add for the punched up version and the economics get really sketchy.

That narrator is so hard to listen to. Voice like nails on a chalkboard... It's like he's trying to talk an octave higher than his natural voice.

Interesting build. Way too much money to dump into a trail 125. I'd ride the **** out of it bone stock...

I thought it was the Monkey…but it is not.
it's a "postie" bike. British and Aussie postmen (postal persons?) have used these since the '60s.
... I don't know about buying a GIVI box for the back. Honda designed that rear rack to hold a milk crate... so isn't that GIVI box just an expensive milk crate?
... and Honda designed the air intake to snorkle under the seat. What they have here will drown the carb if you go under water.
Honda has been building this bike since the " you meet the nicest people on a Honda" days and it is hard to improve on what Honda makes. They're virtually indestructible.

I'm with you on this, could not tolerate the narration which was a pain because it is an interesting, if too expensive, build.

I looked at a Honda Navi 'minimoto' yesterday, new at dealer $3,200. its 100cc automatic trans, and not pretty but would fit in a van/motorhome/ or camper with little effort. And I assume an aircooled 100cc Honda would run almost for ever

Looks like a blast for in city riding or some light off-roading.

I dragged my buddy behind me on some pretty nasty **** on the Escarpment above the St. Davids reservoirs earlier this month on his Hofan (CT 90 w. Lifan 125 transplant). Had to wait for him a few times, but he made it through everything.

that looks pretty awesome! I think I'll use my 'Wellness Spending Account' next year to do an offroad course.
