Dealer dropped off my 400R this afternoon and I'm happy as a pig in ****.
Took it for a spin around the neighbourhood and met a nice guy with an R6. He offered to take me for a short ride and it was amazing. We went down the Lakeshore and back up the Gardiner and absolutely incredible. Can you tell I love my bike? I wasn't ******** bricks like I thought I'd be. All I can say is taking a riding course (I went through RTI), it teaches you a lot,
Nice easy throttle response, a smooth, progressive clutch gives a nice friction zone, not jumpy or twitchy at all. Bike is just the right size for me (found the Ninja 250 too small - I'm 6'2"). Anyone looking for a great beginner bike - this is it.
Just gotta remember to cancel my turn signals after a turn.
Well, off for another ride.
