Geese!!!

Those bastards were up in Vaughan the other day!!

Be kind to our fine feathered friends.

For some reason I keep picturing geese with bombs strapped to them, wearing trench coats.

They're geese, not chicken, so they're pretty confident you'll blink first. Downright dangerous on LSB, where it's not uncommon for them do stretch across three lanes.

Blew though a gaggle once on the Burgman. A bit hazardous, yes--they have VERY powerful wings--but it felt good to make them stop for once. They stopped all the cars behind me, though. I rode the rest of the way in to work, alone.

I agree with braveheart.
I so wanna kidnap one of them and eat it. Then go and do 8-10 years in jail

There are far too many...the parks are full of geese sheet! I let my dog chase a flock of them when we go to the park. Ever see 50 geese take off honking ...it's hilarious. He hasn't caught any or I'm sure he wouldn't know what to do if one turned on him...lol. Although he is a Great Dane/German shepherd ...most likly trample it.

Geese doesn't taste good.
We keep geese back home to guard the house and they are better than guard dogs.

I noticed that noise from my car (prius-hybrid) makes them attack it. Any of your bikes/car get the same effect?

we should be allowed to eat them.

You are. I called up environment Canada last year to settle a lunch hour debate. Turns out it's 100% perfectly legal to hunt them! You need to meet all the regulatory requirements for hunting of course, but since road kill is yours have at it.

I miss my open piped Harley. I used to downshift and rev throught the flocks when I came across them.

Be very careful with the grass-crappers. Cagers do dumb things around them.

A few years back a cager family stopped on Hwy 50 to let a "Cute" family of geese cross the road. The truck coming up over the hill didn't know and the result was two dead and two severely injured.

Another case west of the GTA, a goose hit caused a biker to go off the road and he died after hitting a tree.

Do anything you can to get rid of the pests.

Does tasting a loose goose count?

I've killed about 15 this year. They're tasty to me!!

I took a goose off the head on my sled about 10 years ago. Was doing about 100 when we connected. Just about knocked me off the sled unconscious. Messed up a brand new helmet too!
