gas...

MR12, is more expensive,, but makes better power that MR9.

MR12 was formulated to replace and outperform MR9.

Is it true that C10/C12 will actually make less power ? or even potentially lose power?

and that sometimes 87 octane will make more power vs 91/94??

In pump gas it can. Its all about matching the engine to the fuel. And more expnisve bigger mumbers is not always better.

The bike is not completely stock. It has a k&n filter, exhasust with no cat, and its yosh boxed ( mapped).

Hi guys, and gals. I'm just curious if you use a higher octance can it do damage to the motor. I'm talking about 100 or 112 octane. Will you feel a difference from pump gas? I like to do runs at TMP and want to know if it would help a little. I have a 2007 gsxr 600. I don't want to hear about how its a waste of money and what not so if your going to ***** please keep your comments to yourself, thanks.

So all you want to hear is whether higher octane will hurt your engine or not. The fact is that higher octane cannot cause any damage to a bike.
