Gas mileage problem.

+1 on this.

I've gotten endurance ranging from about 160km/tank in stop-and-go city driving all way 330km/tank on the BRP (to first low fuel light). Same bike, same gas, same air filter. As others have said, check your air filter is clean, maybe throw in some injector cleaner and/or seafoam to make sure you're not wasting fuel on a poor burn, and try go for a trip out in the country where you can cruise. 95% chance that this'll clear it up for you.

If that still doesn't get you into the normal range for your bike, you may be looking at a bit more involved troubleshooting. Could be fowled/plugs, or an ECU/sensor issue, though that second one is less likely. Does your bike have an aftermarket management system like a Power Commander? Incorrect settings on that can kill your efficiency. Several of these issues would make your bike run excessively rich, and one symptom of that would be a "smokey" exhaust coming out. You can give your parked bike some throttle in neutral to check for that.

Mileage can also change greatly if you're doing city riding vs highway riding due to frequent stops and starts. I doubt your bike measures the fuel consumption based on whether your on the highway or not. Also depends on how hard you accelerate...

Based on this site: http://www.fuelly.com/motorcycle/kawasaki/er-6n , on average for the 2012 er6n is around 47mpg which converted is about 20km/l. On average according to this, you should be running at around 5L/100km.

P.S. Hey! I see you on that list with a N/A rating :P
