Frontier Travel Vietnam

Anyone here done one of these tours of Vietnam?
Looks amazing!

I've not heard of Frontier Travel, but a couple of years ago, we rented some bikes in Ho Chi Minh and rode all the way up the length of Vietnam to Hanoi. Did not realize that the entire length of Vietnam is almost the distance from Canada to Mexico! Took us about a month of leisurely travel.

Food was amazing!

So much diversity in the geography, from mountains, to beaches, cities to dirt roads in tucked away rural villages.

As we got closer to Hanoi, there was some really good dirt riding in the north. It was the wrong time of year for that and we were running out of time, but we have plans to return and just spend a couple of weeks doing some trail riding up there on some dirt bikes.

If you ever get a chance to ride Vietnam, do it!

Tons of youtube videos on this, people vlogging their trip. While I was there in 2012 I talked to a few guys trying to sell the bikes they had purchased for the trip as they completed it. very common to buy cheap scooters or small bike at one end, and sell it when finished with it back then, but these days I think it's more rental companies that have capitalized on so many doing it. I plan to do the route but keep getting drawn back to Thailand every year and haven't had the motivation to set up the visa again for getting into Vietnam.

Thanks for posting that and amazing pics - that's a country I've always wanted to visit.

I would be afraid to ride a motorcycle in Saigon, even crossing the street by foot is a challenge

The secret to crossing the street in south east Asia is you dont stop walking. Keep the same pace and they will go around you. When you panic and stop is when you get smoked.
