Lovely day out......high end car show in Erin at Boot Hill Auto on the north end of town - noon to 4.

Isn't there always law enforcement typically there on the weekends and holidays? The key is to go there on a weekday (work day) where it's usually dead. I've been there on a long weekend once, and it's packed.

There was an OPP RIDE checkpoint at the Hockley General Store this afternoon. A couple of lady cops in hi-viz. Me-ow! Unfortunately, "Have you had anything to drink today?" wasn't a pickup line.

My 8 year old son was with me in my car one day.
Ride program pulls me over, the cop said.

"Anything to drink this evening sir?"

"Nope."

"OK, on your way."

A few blocks down the road, my son said.

"Daddy, why did he offer you a drink?"

Just after I posted he lit out after someone - did not see but going way too fast for conditions...stupid - where is the driver gonna go.

Turns out I look like a cop from the front - white helmet and big and donut belly to go with it.
Had a couple of riders ahead of me trying to figure it out - then we went and had fun once they sorted it
