First ninja 300 for sale on kijiji?

Actually now that I looked at the image it links to ebay so this could be a scam. None the less the bike looks real nice

That bike looks sweet! Wish it was available when I bought the 250:( I don't think it justifies trading in the cbr for it though...not yet anyway!

Kijiji is owned by ebay.

If you're happy with CBR, why bother?

My only complaint with the CBR250 is that I would like a little bit more usable power on the highway. But besides that I've no comlaints about it! Did a nice 730km ride a few weeks ago and the bike held up awesome. But 300cc isn't enough of a jump to justify the switch.
Once I get into wanting to tour further (instead of just thinking about it!) I'll upgrade, but for now the bike's great.

Apparently the 300 makes 39 horsepower (claimed) whereas the CBR250 is somewhere around 25? That'd be approximately a 50% increase in horsepower (too lazy to calculate torque also, but I'd expecting it to be similar). Question is, is it worth the price? For less than the price of the Ninja 300 you can get a used 500, 600ss, 650v-twin, and some others which'll make much more horsepower.

If insurance is a problem though, and you literally can't get a 500 due to the prices: I can see the 300 being a good buy IF it actually saves you money as opposed to buying a bigger bike for cheaper and biting the bullet on insurance for a bit. Spending an extra $1000 to save $300 on insurance wouldn't be worth it imo.

Nah financially it makes absolutely no sense to me. I'm looking at upgrading maybe next year...but currently I still haven't really found a bike that really pulls me into getting it. I love the standard bikes, and may go that route. Hornet 599 is at the top but damn carbs are keeping me away from it, and then maybe the Gladius/ER-6N/NC700X but I'm certainly not sure which way to go yet. Too many choices and not enough $$$!
For now the 250 is enough and once I feel I'm very comfortable with it then I can move on up to something with more oomph!

Around 40... That's a good number. Not too slow, enough to have fun and still pay low insurance
I sold my SV650 but I still think that the SV with around 70 HP is one of the greatests bikes in the history of mankind :p

I used to ride 250's and I'd love to take this 300 for a spin

Given the choice between the Ninja 650 and the 300 I would prefer the 300. IMHO, Kawasaki did a nice job with this package.
