FI Red Lights + Oil Symbol

Ok so I was riding my bike to work this afternoon (really hot outside) and I notices my red light turned on randomly. And so once I pulled into a gas station I saw the oil symbol flashing. I checked the oil window and saw there was a good amount of oil but I saw bubbles at the top of the oil. I saw the bike was at 108*F so I sat there for 5-8 min to cool down and the light never came back on after. Is this bad? I'm at about 3300km since last oil change (full synthetic).

oil light = oil pressure issue.

flashing light = bad bad bad.

It was a solid red light. What does that mean? How do I fix the oil pressure problem?

FI red light can also be due to condensation when the air is very humid, I've got that a few times on my bike but goes away after shutting off the engine and restarting. If it was this problem only then there's a good chance the bike is fine, but with the oil light issue you may have a more serious problem...

The lights gone and isn't coming back do that could be it. I was riding at low speeds that the fans needed to turn on. It couldve been that condensation issue. The bike didn't feel different when riding it. Still very responsive. I will admit that earlier on the ride I would be close to stalling when in 3rd gear and coming to a stop and I pulled the clutch in late. Could that be the reason for the oil pressure changing?

Just make sure your oil level isn't too high. If it is, oil can "aerate" or "foam", resulting in oil temps increasing rapidly, low oil volume/pressure through the pump, lack of splash lubrication, etc.

This would be pretty extreme but it's a possibility under the right conditions.
