... pffff young people, and I suppose the next day his excuse will be something to do with work.

Don't need a weather rock. If I go outside and I'm wet, it's raining, if I'm covered in snow, it's snowing. In a sense, I'm my own weather rock.

In a year or three, I think (hope) the rest of canada follows Sask. It's DST there all year.

I strongly suspect it will pass in Ontario. Tying the change to QC and NY I don't like. That may leave it in perpetual limbo. Just do it and they are more likely to switch afterwards (or not, I don't care what their clock says).

If I am riding my bike during standard time, I don't give a flying *&^*^ what the clock says. Bike stays on DST.
