Fake ads!

Fake ads where? Facebook? GTAM? Scam ads are a very profitable business. Very low cost, very high profit.
 
Good luck getting them to do anything about them - you can report fake crap and spam and scams until you turn blue in the face on any Facebook operated company and their stupid "AI" will tell you that nothing is wrong, move along, nothing to see here. I gave up reporting stuff long ago as it's like yelling into the void.

The only thing you can really do that is effective is copy the related ad URL along with screenshots and send it to the actual *real* companies - if that info actually makes it to someone who cares, they'll move it up the chain of command, and then when it reaches a sufficient level they'll send it to their lawyers right quick who will then contact FB legal...who are the only ones that can seemingly get action.

Nope.

I just sent a Nigerian prince a small sum of money to help him move a million dollars out of the country. When the funds are re-homed, I'll receive $50,000!!!

Not bad for a $5000 initial investment.

Sometimes you just gotta be smart with your money.
 
I'd love to participate more in this thread, but I just got some concerning emails.

Apparently Canada Post, UPS, DHL, and FedEx are holding packages for me that they will incinerate if I don't pay the duties NOW. I can't even remember ordering stuff, but I must have because they all have the right logos.

Plus my Netflix, Prime, and Disney Plus subscriptions are about to be suspended. I didn't remember having ANY of those so I better fix this and start watching A LOT more TV.

Hey Lightcycle, could you forward me the contact info for the Nigerian guy? Maybe he has another opportunity coming up.

Oh, and now I have a grandson who is in trouble in Thailand and needs some money. He asked that I not tell his parents, which will be pretty easy as I have no clue who they are.
