However, I don't tend to order three course meals at a drive thru
A coffee and an old fashion plain at Tims and a #2 breakfast combo at Mickey D's...
If it's 08:30 on a weekday and they don't have a sausage and egg mcmuffin, a hash brown and a coffee ready to go in a timely manner... Maybe some irate customers will propel them towards getting their poop in a group.
My attitude of late leans more towards avoiding the whole situation... My coffee stops at Tims are probably 50% of what they used to be.
Micky D's... maybe once a month if I'm too lazy to have breakfast before leaving the house in the morning.
'Getting old and crusty.. At chain places prices have gone up and quality/value for money has taken a dive.
I often go visit a buddy of mine and pretty much always show up with coffees... For the longest time it was a stop at Tims to pick 'em up.
These days I prefer the nearby bakery with self serve coffee... I have to park and get out of my car, go in, pour/mix the coffee myself AND pay more than what a Tims costs, but... It's better tasting coffee, never burnt and the ladies at the counter are very pleasant.
If I fancy a baked goody, that too to of a much higher quality.
